I am proud and excited to announce that Red Sky Research is again supporting the Westford Academy* Capstone program through our Genesis Block Mentored Internships program. The program runs 5 weeks beginning Monday, April 11, 2022.
Genesis Block helps students learn about Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptocurrency through research, domain modeling and special projects.
During the first two weeks, Phase 1, Interns will research and document monetary and economic domains which are fundamental to understanding Bitcoin as hard money.
Our Phase 1 objective will be to domain model the first 5 chapters of Saifedean Ammous’ seminal work, The Bitcoin Standard. Each intern will receive a signed** copy of the book so they can dirty it up with notes.
Phase 2 will be Special Projects. During this phase, interns will form teams to research and develop personal interests in cryptocurrency.
Prior to their joining Genesis Block, I tasked the interns to perform a short, open-ended research project on blockchain. Each produced an Executive Summary describing their research method, discoveries and special project ideas, some of which I’ve included in the diagram.
