As we say too frequently in the US, ‘so much for vacation week’.
But I’m not complaining. I enjoy building Red Sky.
A few ‘overtime’ hours during vacation week was worth it.
And, for the record, I did get some personal time. I was able to enjoy a few days with friends on Cape Cod. I bikee some gravel roads. I played my Spanish-living-in-Prague-vacationing-in-beautiful-Slovenia-friend, Juan, to an epic draw (me as black). And, I tackled my largest magnitude personal task of springtime, delivering our sailboat to her mooring.
But back to Red Sky…
The big news of last week was that I signed a contract to teach a blockchain course. A milestone for me as one of my goals at Red Sky is to Educate. I’m not at liberty to disclose details yet except that the program has been developed by a world class Institute of Technology and will begin later this week. My role will shift from R&D to teacher, and it will be my job to add color, depth and context to the material and guidance to the lab work.
The next news bit is that I am onboarding another Research Intern. I received some preliminary work from this young person and I am impressed.
And, finally, I modeled a Jack Dorsey interview. Jack’s is one of the most powerful and wise voices in the Bitcoin and Blockchain financial space. Modeling the messages of Bitcoin advocates is work I do daily. I modeled the 10 minute answer Jack gave during the Microstrategy-sponsored, Bitcoin for Corporations Keynote. Michael Saylor’s question to Jack was: What does Bitcoin mean to the World?
Jack’s answer is compelling and I’ll share the model of it soon. I modeled it as a means to demonstrate Bitcoin research method for the benefit of a Layer 3 company which reached out to me based on my work at Red Sky.
That’s the news. I don’t know if I’ll share my activity every week, ha ha, especially those weeks when I seriously goof off, but who knows.
And, thanks for reading. Please leave a comment below as it will inspire me. And/or ‘smash that like button’ as the YouTubers like to say. It will make me happy and help spread my words.
Today’s pic (I’m still working on correct rendering) is a model of Red Sky Activity, this week’s and last’s. I hope you like it. (click here for full sized version)
I enjoyed drawing it for you.
